Established in 2023, Darley Dynamites FC are a junior football club based at Forest Moor School, HG3 2RA.
Our mission is to develop & grow our club by offering excellent training by FA approved coaches, the best equipment & top playing facilities to children around the local area, allowing them to thrive in a fun & safe environment.

Get to Know Us
At the end of the 2023 season a group of frustrated parents felt their children & coaches were not being given the support or equipment by their club to help their children develop to the best of their abilities.
The decision was made to start a new club Darley Dynamites FC, a club where our kids, not the bank balance, were at the heart of every decision made. A family atmosphere, where everyone mucks in, is at the heart of the clubs ethos. Creating bonds & friendships to last a life time, between both children & parents, are one of bonus' that come along with sport & is something we encourage each time we are together.
We secured a home at Forest Moor School, which offers excellent facilities including our outdoor pitch as well as an indoor gymnasium, which means we are able to train even through the worst months of the year (which this season has lasted a lot longer than usual). Deciding that the children needed more of a challenge after an unbeaten season in the Nidderdale League we entered the team into the under 8's Harrogate & Wharfedale Junior Football League for the 2023/2024 season.
After securing our new home the club managed to secure a number of fantastic sponsors for the season ahead (click here to see our sponsors). This allowed us to go all out on buying more equipment then we had ever had at our previous club as well as provide the children with brand new, custom football kits in our yellow & black club colours.
Not satisfied, we were able to successfully apply for an 80% FA grant towards four high quality football goals. Another successful grant application from the Knabs Ridge Wind Farm Community Fund has allowed us to fund the other 20% required for the football goals as well as future costs involved with running the club over the coming seasons. A just giving page set up on our behalf also managed to raise over £1000.
In the future we have the possibility of creating a much larger playing area as the club grows. We are currently in the process of achieving quotations with the aim of adding a 3G training pitch & drainage to the facilities we have available.
